Santa Clause is comin' to town

Good Morning!

Today is a very special day for the wiles family. Our little girls get to go see Santa Clause! Abigail has been so very excited about Christmas this year, she's already received a video and phone call from Santa, so seeing him in person is going to be the most amazing thing for her.

Last year, we decided to go to Bass Pro Shop so get their pictures taken, for one it's free, and for another, they have a whole winter wonderland play area there for the kids.

This is my babies picture from last year. They actually went up to him with no issues and Abigail talked to him in her 2 1/2 year old language, lol. Now she's 3 and she can talk fairly clear and understand what people ask her, so this trip should be quite exciting, as she'll be able to converse with him. Sierinity is 2 years old and as well as she talks and understands, i don't think she's as happy to see Santa as her sister is. She has made it clear that she wants her presents already, since i caught her trying to open her presents early, lol. She's such a sweetheart, so she may surprise me when we get there and actually enjoy her visit with him.

It is so comforting seeing how much growing up my kids have done over the year. Sierinity is no longer my baby baby and Abigail, well, she's so much more mature than i ever thought a 3 year old could be. Some of my favorite conversations of the day are those with my girls.

These picture bring such a smile to my face as i think back to last years christmas morning. Abigail wasen't quite as intrigued with the idea of getting gifts as she is now, but she loved her beauty and the beast themed presents! lol, and my goodness, Sierinity was so small and absolutely adorable playing with her presents. It was her first Christmas ever and her face looks like she's thinkin, 'WOAH, i don't know what these toys are for....but i think i like it'.

I truly hope your Holidays are filled with love, hope, and family. The spirit is alive and present this year. I can see it in my babies smiles, I can smell it in the air, and I can feel it in my heart. I am truly blessed to have my family, health, and all of my friends.

Happy Christmas!

Merry Christmas Charlie Brown!

I've been away from blogging for 5 months! I can't believe it, lol. I've been so very busy lately, it's crazy. Between kids, marriage, school, laundry, dishes, and plain laziness, i must have lost track of time. Well, It's almost that time of year. W
hat time you ask? Well Christmas! Jeremy and I (mostly me) have been eagerly planning and packing for the last month. Packing?! Yup, we're moving, yet again. This time, not a house like i planned, however, we're getting a very cute apartment in my hometown. I am so very excited....okay I lied, i'm NOT looking forward to it, and while we're being honest, we're about 3 weeks away from our move in date, and i have 2 full boxes packed...and they're tiny boxes, lol! I am throwing a crap load away though, so i am doing something.

I have so much I want to do this season with my girls, and little time to do it. Abigail is obsessed with the whole idea of christmas, it's insanely adorable. Sierinity, not so much, she just wants those presents. That booger butt even opened up one from u
nder the tree! I know, bad idea putting wrapped gifts in arms reach of a preschooler, but I thought it'd be a cute addition to our limited decorations. Last year, our girls were spoiled. I had such a high budget for them, that i ran out of ideas before I did money. I paid for it this year, 9 presents for each girls, half of which were from the dollar store, lol. We did get the girls each an electronic game system though, so that took up a big chunk of our budget. Next week, my little sugar plums get to visit the clause man! I am totally excited to see the looks on their faces. That dude holds a HUGE title in my girls' minds. Abigail has already informed her daddy that she is going to ask for barbie dolls. She wants 5! yup she coun
ted every little finger on one hand and said that's how many she wanted. Ya.....i have on barbie lying somewhere in my house legless, as we speak. I don't dig the barbie idea, but, i had a ton when i was little so who am i to spoil the wished of my innocent surgeon-like children. Another fun actitivity i'd love to bring the girls to is our local zoo lights display. I can just image it, my girls bundled up in their cute little fluffy coats sippin hot coa coa from their sippies and staring in amazement of all the pretty lights. I mean seriously, i took
them for a ride around a couple neighborhoods to look at lights the other night and they freaked, could you imagine over 1 million lights right up in their faces? lol, priceless....literally, i have a hook up ;)

As for me, I'm doing alright. I'm a survivor i tell ya. I recently had a cyst rupture on my ovary and had been drugged up on pain killers for the past week and a half, meaning i missed nearly a full week of school, i have to force my butt into the dr today to grab a note to excuse them all, and i feel as though i'm going to have back pain the rest of my life. I have this move coming up faster than i'd like and no energy or time to complete the tasks that go along with it. Other than that, i'm officially a salon floor student, meaning I work on clients 4 days a week which has been interesting, lol. I love doing hair, but seriously, if i could pick and choose my clients, i'd be a happier stylist. I get some horribly negative people in my chair that silently question my expertise, as well as some pretty vocal ones. I do get the occasional sweetheart that makes this job worth the stress. I'm seriously thinking about going the makeup route though. I've always loved it, but could never really call it a passion. Now hair, that was my passion; key word: was. That's not the case anymore. I like getting clients, but only for the tips, unless i know the person, or it's a color client. Cutting, eh, it's alright, nails, their fun, but skin care just kind of recently caught my interest, so we'll see how far i can take that before i lose interest.

Blah blah blah, me me me, that is NOT what this blog is about. The family update as of this week. My girls are getting huge, and TALKING, my goodness are they talking, lol. Jeremy's finished with his associates degree and graduating next week, and i'm holding on tight to this roller coaster ride....okay my hand are waving in the air like a crazy lunatic losing control, but....i got this :)

Lets just say, this mommy don't give a fuuuuuu.....nny bone?

Okay, so for some crazy messed up reason, i have this thought inprinted on my brain that says, ' hey you, air your dirty laundry online for the whole world to see', well guess what, not happening. I wrote a HUGE blog post about bull-poopie that's been going on with my schedule, stress, sleep, school ect, but like my title says, I don't give a funny bone! lol That is MY business. I'm honestly sick of being looked at as a slacker for missing school, looked at as a bad parent because of this flopped up sleeping schedule my children are on, made out to be some money grubbing welfare survivor, when people honestly have NO clue who i even am! I haven't posted on this blog in quite some time, and half the reason is because i've had no time or no energy. This blog IS about our family and my kids, but hey, since i have it, why not get my thoughts, feelings, and points out in the open. My kids are my life. If people want to look at me in a bad way or choose to judge me based upon observations, then i honestly don't care to have them around me or apart of my life because they don't deserve to know the me inside of my home, which all of us moms know is different than our 'public' selves, lol. I really don't have much else to say.....just needed to rant :)

life, love, and funny bones,

Little girls' day out.....

Happy Monday all my lovely parents! I haven't blogged for a while, due to computer issues. I have a bunch to fill you in on though! Last friday, Sierinity started walking! She's 15 months, and started walking at the end of her 14 month, which yes, is late. Both my girl didn't master the walk until after 12 months, but I don't like to pressure them. They're so young, and if walking is the one thing they can choose to do by themselves at the moment, then i have no problem letting them decide when it'll happen. She's all over the place now, and absolutely loves that she can get places on her own.
Last night, I remembered a billboard I had seen on my way to school. Disney Princess on Ice is coming to town this weekend! We weren't able to bring the girls to the ren fest when it was in town, so I figured, well, lets bring Abigail to this show! I would LOVE to bring Sierinity but I know for a fact that she wouldn't be able to sit still during the whole show, lol. So my husband agreed and we will be taking Abigail to see all of her favorite princess' this Sunday, and she's sooooo excited <3.

My big girl LOVES her princess movies. I have been wanting to bring her to disneyland for a while now, but we agreed to wait until Sierinity was old enough to get excited too. This is an awesome alternative. Grandma can watch Sierinity for a few hours, and Abigail can
get her princess fix, lol. This little girl was up all night watching youtube videos of princess on ice and could not fall asleep, lol. The show actually looks pretty amazing. ALL the characters are a part of the show so Abigail will get to see all of her favorite people.
I am so excited to be able to do this with my little monkey. She's so very happy that she gets to go to this! She keeps repeating, 'Disney on Ice!' 'WOW' 'Cindee-ella'

Some of my favorites....

As a mom, i'm sure you're out to look for the new cool things to buy your kids! I know I am. Earlier today I caught myself telling people I like to buy my kids 'name brand' clothing. What I should've said or explained better, to avoid sounding like a snob lol, was that I like to buy CERTAIN name brands, for the quality. I've found that with some brands, they don't hold up to a normal toddlers day. Walmart jeans' buttons pop off, Disney store footed jammies get holes in the feet. However, I love walmarts shirts and socks, as well as the disney stores ornaments and cups, so they both have their good and bad points. Here's a few places I LOVE to shop for my kids' clothes. I will also add some recent deals they have as of now, as an example as to why I shop at these places
The Childrens Place: These cute sandals are really good quality. I love their shoes! These babies are $3 right now, yup, i said it, lol. You can't even find sandals this inexpensive a walmart.

They also have a bunch of cute graphic shirts like this for $6 too! It's almost summer which means winter is over and your child might not fit in their clo
thes from last summer so stock up.

KOHLS: I haven't shopped here too much for my kids, but I have shopped for myself, and I do like the selection and prices of this place! Especially the coupons they give out, you can literally save hundreds of dollars by using them. These shirts are one of many different styles they have for sale right now. They have t-shirts, tank tops, and these halter for $7 or 2 for $13. This is actually a great deal. I mean, a lot of people think kohls is expensive because it is a department store, however, it's actually very cheap and they ALWAYS have sales.

RUFFLE BUTTS: I love this place! I got my daughter these exact bloomers but with her name embroidered on the back. They were on sale for about $20 I think, but these things are amazing, they're so comfy and not to mention, adorable! If you're not into spending that much on an outfit your child may not wear that often, they also have amazing deals on some semi-necessities

These babies will keep your little ones legs nice and warm but are thin enoughto be used as a sock alternative when your childs wearing sandals. These are only $9 and are very good quality. They are an online shop, so if you want to check them out visit Rufflebutts.com

I hope this helped you fashionista mama's out in the competitive world of child clothes shopping, lol. You can buy cute name brand clothes without paying the full bill, be smart! Check out the clearance racks first, and always try to find an 'outlet' center that sells some the same brands the department stores sell, such as ross, tj maxx, and even consignment shops! Good luck mama's I know you can do this, set out a budget of $20 and try to come home with at least 10 items, lets see if you can do it

Once the kids feel better.....

I'm still pretty tired, i mean i barely had any rest last night, lol. Still running on sweets and energy drinks, but so far i'm making it. My kids are feeling like themselves again, and i really hope they don't have a repeat of last night, tonight. So far so good! They both had baths and are nice, clean, and no longer smelling of stomach nasties. Although i've had very little sleep, I am so thankful to be their mommy! They make me so happy seeing them happy and feeling better. Since I haven't been able to get to bed till after 1 am, i'm thinking maybe me and the girls can possibly get on a really good schedule tonight. The only thing i'm afraid of is having an energy crash while at school tonight, lol, that would be horrible driving home that late and wanting to fall asleep. Let me tell you something a lot of amazing people have recently told me. You can worry about work/school all you want, but you NEED to remember, that family always comes first. If my kids continue to feel bad or i feel like i'm too exhausted to drive, as important getting your work done is, I will do the responsible thing and stay home. When you drive overly tired, you're not only risking your safety, but everybody elses as well. Well, since i'm gonna try to stay up for the rest of the day, i'm gonna do my family a favor and kick these germs out of my house, time for some deep cleaning

Stomach sickness and pulling all nighters.....

Well, my babies caught the bug that's been going around and had mommy up ALL night. My poor babies were puking everywhere! When Abigail wasen't getting sick, Sierinity was. I think nearly every surface, including me, in my living room smells of vomit. They were up until about 5 am getting sick, in turn, forcing me to stay awake to make sure my little ones were okay. I'm a worrying mama, and I hate to see my babies sick, so even after they stayed asleep for a while with no troubles, I stayed awake to make sure they didn't puke in the middle of the night and choke on it while I was sleeping. Now, this morning my little one woke up for a bit, but I layed down next to her and got a cat nap on the couch until my oldest woke us both up asking for water. I'm all hyped up on monster energy drinks now and feeling like i too, may get this nasty bug, but the hubby is asleep after trying to stay up with me last night, so he may be sleeping for quite a while leaving me to try my hardest not to pass out due to a caffeine overload and/or get sick because of my lack of sleep. If your toddlers or children of any age have gotten this icky bug, here's a few ways you can get your kids better, and if your not like me, get yourself some rest while theyre sleeping it off

Keep fluids down them so they don't dehydrate. This is a big problem if your little loves are throwing up a lot like mine were. The key is to limit their liquid intake as much as possible until you know what they hold down. 1 teaspoon full of water every 10 minutes is ideal, then gradually move up to bigger doses. Also, if you kids will allow you too, try and give them some pedialyte or Gatorade. Electrolytes are essential in children that are sick. There's no medicine that can cure this tummy ache, so unless your child is in pain or running a fever, don't give them anything that may disrupt the bodies natural healing process, other than tylenol, motren, or ibuprofen. Keep your children in as little clothes as possible and make sure, which you should always do anyways for purposes like this, you keep multiple clean blankets. My kids were so sick, they threw up on all their jammies (I changed my oldest 2 times before I realized she was just going to dirty up every new pair I put on her, so we ended up just keeping her in a diaper, but we did still have to keep switching out her blankets because she wouldn't give much of a warning, and then would cover her blanket in uckyness. If you child is old enough, keep a bowl beside them to throw up in. Abigail would cry and tell me her tummy hurt, and ask for water, so that's when i knew I had to grab the bowl for her. Sierinity would wake up out of the blue and start coughing and then it would happen, so you jst have to be prepared. I kept two blankets, one for her to cover up with and another for her to puke onto since she didn't like the bowl idea. It's a messy job, but that's what you're there for.

Even though i'm covered in throw up and probably smell pretty awful, I know my kids appreciate me being there for them and i'm happy that I have the opportunity to take care of them when they feel sick. They're my world and i would do it all over again. There is a good outcome of my long night, my girls got the rest they needed and hydrated appropriately, so now, they're both snacking on cheetoes and watching a disney movie. They're feeling much better, and as tired as I am, i'll keep pounding these energy drinks and give them both much needed baths and give my house a good scrub down! Until my husband decides to wake up, i'm stuck smelling like vomit, but I can change my clothes, lol. If I can do it, you can do it! Your kids depend on you, and it will make you feel wonderful knowing you made them feel better, whether you had help from your spouse, or did it alone because he can't stand the sight of puke or couldn't handle an all nighter, lol. We were built to raise our kids on little to no sleep, so keep your moodyness in check and take care of those little sicklings <3

My day's seem so much shorter....

It's already 1, and I feel like I jst woke up. Lately I haven't been feeling very good so my house, as a result has suffered. Fortunately it won't take too long to clean because it's jst toys and random garbage, but still I feel like i'm living in a mess! At the moment my girls are being good and watching beauty and the beast, well other than my little Sierinity trying to fall asleep and crying as she does, lol.

Okay, i'm done procrastinating, it's time to get the little monkey down for a nap and get some housework done so I can study for my test tonight. Yay school, lol

Cranky babies, disney movies, and laziness,
The Wiles Family

It's almost bed time....

I'm having issues getting myself, and my girls on a good sleep schedule. I can't seem to want to fall asleep before 1 am, in turn making my little ones think it's okay for them to do the same. Sierinity's pretty easy to get to sleep, but Abigail likes to fight it. I never had a really good bed time routine going.....ever. We usually eat dinner, get baths, brush teeth, and watch movies, but for some reason, no matter how tired they are, they still like to fight me. I can't just put them in their beds and walk away, it's way past that point since I never did it before, so now even when i try, they scream and cry and break my heart. What can I say, i spoil them. My husband is usually in his 'man cave' doing homework, working on music, or just chilling out after a long night of school, which leaves me trying to get both girls to sleep. It doesn't help that they both want mommy to hold them while they fall asleep, and of course they can't share.

Abigail at the moment, is jumping on my couch and when i ask her to please stop it so she doesn't get her, she replies, 'nuh uh, jumping couch', lol. So.....i'm gonna tire her out by making her help me pick up the house before daddy comes in to watch army wives with us. Yup.... I got him hooked, lol. He doesn't like it as much as i do, but he loves me so much he pretends to <3.>

Ick! this computer screen is making me tired, time to get my blood circulating and get this house cleaned up.

Oh rain, why do you like sneaking up on me.....

It's about that time again, school tonight at 5pm. I knew it was cold outside this morning when I dressed the kids, because the clouds were hovering for over an hour, so i made sure they were in something warm. Now me on the other hand, I have a dress code for school, all black or black and white. This gives me a limited number of outfit choices for the week and lately, it's been pretty warm, so i've tucked away my warm clothes in preparation for the new season. Well, since i go to school at night, the coldest part of the day, I am at a loss with finding myself something to wear.

Luckily, I had thrown some random clothes in the washer last night, and a black long sleeve shirt and jacket were in there! Then, I realized, I have no pants washed, lol. So here's a simple little trick i've learned, on how to make semi-dirty (please don't try this with overly dirty, stinky clothes) clothing that will make them look like you just took them out of the dryer.

step 1: take a lent roller and clean off all hair, loose dirt, crumbs from the surface of your clothing.

step 2: take a damp rag and rub out any stains or if your a mommy like me, caked on dirt from little hands wiping on you.

step 3: fabreeze the heck out those things! fabreeze isn't a perfume, it's a odor blocker. It will trap all nasty musty smells, and get rid of them.

step 4: Throw them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. I hate ironing, so the dryer is a quick way for me to get out any and all wrinkles as well as toughen them up to look like theyre clean. The dryer sheet helps the fabreeze in making them smell good as new!

Now, don't take these tips as an easy way out of cleaning laundry, because this is just a quick way to solving a simple problem at the last minute. Now off to do just as I told you, unless i'm in luck and in fact, there were some pants hiding in with the clothes in the dryer, one can hope, lol

Finding just what you need, dirty laundry, and FABREEZE,
The Wiles Family

Getting your toddlers dressed.....

This is a task many parents struggle with, including me. My daughter, Abigail does NOT like clothes, lol. After a bath, she's cold, so she'll keep her jammies on for a while. That is until she gets warmed up and then off come the jammies. My youngest daughter, Sierinity doesn't mind clothes, but hates socks. So again, after the bath, even though she's cold, she rips those socks off and exposes her little toes. I assume she likes the wiggle room.

Here's a few tips i've learned in my near 3 years of parenting....
Give your kids options! Most parents think little ones arent capable of pick
ing out a good outfit, or maybe they just want them to wear something specific that day......this is why most of the time, children are eager to get those clothes off. Every night before bath time, i pick out 3 jammy sets, and i lay them out on my bed for Abigail to choose. I find, even though it may take a few minutes for my indecisive girl to pick out a perfect pair of night time clothes, she wears them longer and i think, it's because she's in something she likes. Now my little girl isn't old enough to pick yet. I know this because every time i try to give her a choice, she takes them ALL and holds them like their stuffed animals, lol. Since she's not one to want to go streaking yet, i don't worry too much about it.
During the day, most mommy's don't want to give their kids the pick of the bunch because they're afraid they'll pick a crazy, non-matching outfit that they'll be embarrassed to go out in. So what?! They're children, they don't have school, work, and they certainly have nobody to impress. I think it's insanely cute when i'm at the grocery store and I see a little girl in striped tights, a long sleeve polk a dot dress and a white t-shirt. If anything, it shows how patient of a parent you are. One BIG thing about letting your kid go out in public with mix matched clothes is, make sure your child is clean and has his/her hair brushed. There's a difference between cute and homely. Now if you absolutely do not want your little one wearing multiple crazy outfits, give them a choice of a few pre-matched outfits. Much like our night time routine, lay out a few outfits on the bed, and ask your child to pick what they think would be comfortable for the day. Try to make it simple, make sure each bottom will match each top, that way, if they want to be independent and pick one pant from the set with a different shirt, they can.

Kids need to make choices so they don't always rely on you. You probably already pick the clothes for them at the store, and match them up in the closet, so if you pick what they'll wear too, they'll never learn how to do it on their own. Dress time shouldn't be a battle, it should be fun! There's so many things you can do with an outfit to make your child happy and adorable. Right now, my Abigail is wearing a long sleeve pink 'everybody loves me' shirt, blue jeans, sparkley pink belt, princess light up tennis shoes, and her favorite, piggy tails. Sierinity is wearing a white long sleeve rocker shirt, black and silver polk a dot leggings, and hot pink tutu, with of course, piggy tails. They look ADORABLE and so far, they've kept all their clothes on, lol

Love for my soldier....

As a lot of you know, I am a former Army Wife. Like I always say, once an army wife, always an army wife.

When your married to the military, it become much like a sorority. Theres a hazing process known as, 'how strong can you be when the most vicious of rumors are spread about you and your family'. There's also your cliques. The gossipers, the hermits, know it alls, and the over supporting wives.

I've been with my husband through all but 10 months (at the beginning of his army career) of his 4 year term. We became a civi family in august of 2009. Since i've been out of the army wives 'cliques' i've missed it. Sure it was a rough time in my life, being a new mom, a new wife, and on my own for the first time ever, but for some weird reason, I really miss it. I could never bring myself to watchin 'army wives' on lifetime because i was afraid it'd bring back good memories and i'd overly start to miss it. I just seen the preview for the new season coming out this year, and it made me want to watch it for some reason, lol, so now, i'm catching up on ALL the seaons, starting with episode 1. Thank you netflix.

To all my former friends at ft lee, I miss you all tremendously. I miss the frg meetings, the holiday get togethers, the bbq's, the bonding time, and yes, even the rumors, lol. I should've been stronger when dealing with all the hateful things were spread, I should've been comfortable with myself, so it wouldn't effect me. I feel bad about the way we left. There's so much more I could've done as a wife of a soldier to make my life that much better being in the military,

As much as i miss it, i'm also glad we got out. I'm closer to my family, which in turn lets ME live my life. I get to go to school now and have a for sure babysitter for much needed date nights with the hubby. I'm able to see my husband a lot more now than i did back then, thanks to wonderful programs like the new gi bill. I'm also away from the horrid military base which is filled with bad drivers, busy px's, and the constant worry of deployments.

LOL! I'm a lot like Roxy, I felt just like her when I first got to ft lee, new, and dealing with the crazy new life of army wifery. Omg......and now a lady confronted another one about saducing the chaplen, omg, love this show so far, so real......

Love, Support, and army family forever,
The Wiles Family

Things my 2 year old says....

Well, as i posted in my most recent blog, it's breakfast time at the Wiles residence. Only thing that's changed, my Abigail is awake. She says the cutest things when she first wakes up. Right now, she's sitting on the couch eating apple jacks and watch mickey mouse, for the 2nd time today.

So my big girl has become quite the little helper, with manners to match. She's sitting there contently eating her breakfast, then she looks over at me and repeats over and over, 'Thank you mommy!' I turn and say, your welcome hunny, not too sure why she's thanking me. Then i notice, she's spilled some cereal on my couch and is picking them up. Now let me explain why this is so cute. Everytime she spills something, and she picks it up, I sweetly thank her so that the next time something needs picked up, she'll know a kind word will be thrown instead of a harsh, 'CLEAN IT UP!'. So, since i didn't recognize what she was doing right away, she informed me that a thank you was in order by saying, 'THANK YOU, mommy!' as if to tell me to say thank you, lol.

This little muffin is so smart, and i just love to talk with her in the morning (when she's her nicest, lol). Although i'm getting a little sick of mickey mouse, she makes me praise this show by singing all the songs with it. I should probably make it clear that we're not just watching a couple episodes, we're watching the SAME mickey mouse wonderland movie over and over again, lol. So, needless to say, she knows it by heart. My little Sierinity gets so excited when we start the movie and mickey mouse talks to her. She smiles super big and throws her hands in the air, and lets out the biggest happy scream, lol.

Now it's off to find something to do with my morning, maybe clean, maybe not.....no i better do it, lol.

Mornings, thanks you's, a toddler about to crawl out of her walker,

Big Thank You to Our New Followers!

My heart is filled with Love this morning......

I started this blog, not only for our kids, but for some me time. I have been a full time mommy for going on 3 years, and I have soooooo much to talk about! Spreading the mommy tips and meeting new people like us on the way is why i'm here!. I am so excited and thrilled that all you new comers have decided to become 'followers' of us, and I will work my tooshy off trying to find more interesting things to inform you, humor you, or even lift your spirits and make you realize, you're not alone in this parenting battle!

On a different note.....

It is Sunday morning and after falling asleep at 5 am, i'm wide awake at 10 am. Yup that's me, the mommy that stays up late after the kids fall asleep and pays for it in the morning, lol. What's on the menu for this morning? Cheerios and milk for breakfast, mickey mouse for entertainment (obviously), and some quick morning cleaning around my home. While accompanied by my clingy Sierinity (who is luckily enjoying her toys and mickey mouse instead of mommy's hip at the moment) and my sleep walking Abigail who woke up, ran into the living room, laid on the couch, and covered up with my cheetah print couch throw and is now sleeping, lol. The husband helped me clean the whole house last night, it goes by so much faster when 2 people do it instead of mommyrella, lol. So all i have to do this morning is ......BLOCKS, and some sweeping.

Once again, thank you all for allowing me the time to fill your minds with pointless information about my 2nd morning as a blogger. You have no clue how much your support means to me, it's only 6 followers but, it's more than i had yesterday lol. Now it's your turn! Ler ME know what YOU want to read about. This is tailored not only to my family but to helping yours as well. Hope you all have a wonderful and hopefully productive day!

mickey mouse, clingy monkies, and big THANK YOU'S!

Bed time!

It's a weekend so my kiddo's get to stay up late......wouldn't that be awesome if it were true, lol. My kids have never liked to go to bed at a certain time. It's safe to say, they run bed time, lol.
Since Abigail and Sierinity both took pretty late naps, I had a feeling they'd be up for a while, but it seems as though, they may fall asleep fairly early, well earlier than their normal 2 a.m. schedule. Our bed time routine is the same as most nights, bath, jammies, dinner, brush teeth, brush hair, and some icarly or a movie with mommy and daddy.

I finally got the house picked up and sanitized, lol, it only took me multiple sperts of cleaning here and there to finally get yelled at by the hubby for it to get done, lol. Lucky me, he helped pick up the living room while i did the kitchen.

Right now it's about 11 p.m. and Abigail is trying to help me type while she repeats, 'my computeteter', and yes, that's exactly how she says it. Sierinity is playing with her favorite toys, and probably the most annoying of every one they have, blocks, lol. They get everywhere! Under the couch, by the door, in between other toys, even in the kitchen. They do keep her entertained though, so they're fine by me.

Now that my house is clean, kids are washed, and night has set, i'm feeling pretty bored. This mama wants to make some yum yums still, and still, i have no cookie dough, lol, looks like i'll be trying to find a recipe with ingredients i have here, to fulfill my craving

Baths, blocks, and deserts from scratch, (not to mention screaming children)

My head is overloaded with mickey mouse!

Now more than ever, my children and I have found ourselves locked inside and wanting to get out and about. Without a double stroller, it's a bit hard to go do anything outside of the house, so we went to the park right next to our place a few days ago. The kids enjoyed it, but there's not much a 1 and 2 year old can do at a tiny park with big slides and mom's worst nightmare, SAND! So we played in the grass and of course, threw rocks at eachother, lol. So i'm thinking about starting up my little business again selling crafty baby things, pillow case dresses, wipey cases, ect. The only issue with that is, i would have NO time to get my household duties done if i dedicated time to that. With school at night and children that make messes during the day, i'm running out of ideas as to what my babies and i can do together, that will keep us occupied and away from the TV! My girls have watched nothing but Mickey Mouse, spongebob, and princess movies, ALL day! Where has my day gone?! I would LOVE to bake cookies right now, that would be fun, however, no money=no cookie dough. That's okay! Theres a point to this posting <3 style="font-weight:bold;">

Get Creative MAMA!
Think of a fun arts and crafts project you c
an do with your little one. Start a little photo journal of drawings and fun things your kids make. My daughter loves dinosaurs right now, so we can spread out some paper, crayons, and let our creative minds do the work. Trace your childs hand and turn the thumb into the dinosaurs head, and the fingers into the spikes. Much like the turkey creations we did in school, but tailored to what your child is into!

Teach the art of music...
Turn on a cd, mp3, or music station and dance like no ones watching. Kids love to dance, and if you're joining them, they'll think you've gone
crazy! lol, or they'll enjoy the time they're having playing with mommy.
Play dress up!
All toddlers like to dress up, unless they're stubborn and too young to enjoy it like my little princess sierinity, lol. Abigail loves this idea, she has many dress up outfits including old halloween costumes and pretty play dresses. Make a fashion show for daddy, lay out a blanket as the 'cat walk' and have daddy stand at the end with a camera. This will not only make for some adorable scrap book photo's, but will also make your child feel special because SHE got to decide what to wear.

Well it looks as though my love bug is ready for a nap.....eek! it's 6 p.m. NOT a good idea, lol, time to start dinner and have a little bit of big girl help <3

too late, she's asleep, lol

Mickey mouse, wishes of the outdoors, and a long night ahead of me lol,

No motivation? I have a tip for you

So i've been up for a while now, and i keep telling myself, i need to get things done around here! My kids are being good and Abigail even helped me pick up the blocks, which you'll come to find how much and why, i hate blocks, lol. Well, cinderella is on, and this is NOT good motivation, lol. I see her cooking and cleaning and hanging out with her little mice in between, and it looks like a horrid life to live, however, i'm a lot like her. It seems that's all i do, cook, clean, and talk to my little monkey's (children). So here's a list of things i still have left to do.

Sweep floor, organize toys, vacuum couch, clean the tv stand, laundry, clean the kitchen counters, disinfect EVERYTHING, and maybe, depending on how long everything else takes, clean the fridge out. I still need to make the kids lunch, prepare for dinner, and find time to take a much needed shower.

So as i promised, I can motivate you, and hopefully myself, to get your house into tip top shape within minutes!

first, analyse your space. Does everything have a home? What is thee worst clutter you find in your house (blocks, papers, magazines, toys)

Second, turn on a show that will help the cleaning process. I love HGTV and seeing all the beautiful homes they have on there. I get insperation from wanting my place to look like that. Well, you can't decorate unless your house is clean, right? I also like to watch hoarders, lol. Seeing places like that, make me WANT to get my house cleaned up so it doesn't turn into that, not that it ever would.

Third, start with one area of your house, whether it needs cleaned or not. It is spring time and every home deserves a good SPRING CLEANING! Start with one corner of the room your working on. Pick up anything on the floor, table, counter, that doesn't belong there. Then once the floor and surfaces are cleared, get out your clorox wipes or favorite disinfecting spray and wipe down all things! Don't forget to sweep before you mop, lol, that will give you a HUGE mess, i should know.....i've done it, lol.
Fourth, once you've got everything cleared and wiped down, invest in a lovely room spray. Give your home it's own personality. It feels amazing having somebody walk into your home and not only be in shock of how wonderfully kept your place looks, especially if you have children, but how yummy smelling it is! Pick a spray that calls to you. I use glade relaxing moments: island escape. Smells like tropical fruits!

Here's another little tip, do a 21 item toss! I hate putting a number on it, because i always find more to trash/donate than 21 items, and if you're like me and have collected things over the years, you have way more to do away with as well. Go around your house with 2 bags, 1 for donate and 1 for trash. find little items that are cluttering up your living space, that have no purpose or meaning to you and get rid of them! How many of those small happy meal toys do your kids get that they never play with and you find EVERYWHERE? You can donate them to a kid that maybe doesn't even have a toy as nice as those. How many ads do you have from the newspaper, that you know you don't want/need? Well do yourself a favor and look at the sale on it, and then throw it away!

These are a few tips i have to get your productive saturday up and running! I know it's getting late, but it's never too late to get your home germ free!

TV shows, breakfast, 'mommy the wiggles are stupid!'

So as i told you, little miss Abigail woke up with a bright red face, messy hair, and eyes half open saying, 'HI MOMMY!', lol. So I sat her down for a late breakfast of strawberry milk and fruit loops. When she woke up mickey mouse has JUST ended, which is her and sierinity's show of choice. I hurried to find something appealing to the 2 of them, which has become quite difficult. Elmo happened to be on, which is always a winner in this house, and they were hooked. That is until it too, ended. Then, the wiggles came on. Let me tell you, they ANNOY me to no end, lol. Something about them just drive me crazy, well obviously my parrot 2 year old obviously feels the same way, as she sweetly, yet firmly tells me, 'NO! UGH! WIGGLES ARE STUPID!', LOL, gotta love her.
So here's a list of shows i know, will distract her while i get some household duties finished......

Icarly
Mickey Mouse
Elmo
Land Before Time
Good Luck Charlie
and ANY princess movie

MY silly little girls are super picky, but when they find a show that peaks their interest, they are glued, lol

Good morning from the Wiles Family!

As most of you know, i'm currently enrolled in beauty school. I've been really sick this past week, so lucky me...not, i missed nearly the whole week and slept through my alarm this morning, lol. Thank goodness i have a dr's note! Anywho.... instead of self pitty for what i haven't accomplished due to feeling under the weather, i'll praise the morning <3. I got thee most beautiful wake up call this morning by my baby girl, sierinity. She slept in her bed ALL night last night, which since she's been sick, has been nearly impossible. Well, she's feeling all better now, and mommy made her crib nice and comfy last night, so she slept like a baby.

Wake up mommy! lol, this is an old picture from back in december, but her smile was exactly the same so, here you go. I Love my little monkies, they make my day amazing, no matter how bad i'm feeling.

I also love when my 2 year old wakes up and runs into the living room from her bed yelling, 'HI MOMMY! HI MOMMY!' lol, you can't help but to smile!

So, i'm feeling a bit like a slacker, i should be at school now, and i have a feeling i'm going to be insanely behind, so i'll be productive today to make up for the work i'm not doing. Time to clean up this living room (toys, crumbs, odds and ends), kitchen (too much to even discuss, lol) and get on top of my laundry!

Smiles, laughs, and house cleaning,

Introductions and things about us!

Hi everyone! My name is Sabrina Wiles, and i am an avid blog follower. Recently i was trying to figure out new creative things to do as a family, and i realized, well duh! Become a blog writer, lol. We have a lot of family out of state that we would like to share our everyday with. Not only would we like to share our life with our family, but with every person raising a family of their own that may want to learn knew tips and ideas on things to do with their kids, house, marriage, ect. So now, i would like to do an introduction about our family.

Firstly, I have been married to my husband Jeremy, for going on 3 years. He is my love and the father of my children. He's a fantastic provider and i love him bunches <3

Being married has really matured me, as it should, but it did take a while. I took on the responsibility of being a mom right away, but being a wife, that's a whole other story. I thought cooking, cleaning, and doing his laundry was slavery, lol. However, in time, i did open my eyes to what marriage truly is, and i love it now, more than ever <3
I have 2 amazing daughters, abigail and sierinity
. They are my little monkeys and keep me busy! They are both 18 months apart, and are the best of friends. Sierinity is 1 year old and abigail 2, and they are super hyper, outgoing, singing, dancing, nickolodean fans, and princess lovers, lol. They watch more disney movies and nickolodean shows than any children i know, lol. Yes, I understand, 'kids shouldn't watch too much television, it's not good for their development, whatever, lol, they are amazingly smart, talented young ladies and they get plenty of non-tv time as well. The make my days brighter and make me feel loved, and i am proud to be their mommy

Thank you all so much for allowing me the time to fill your heads with useless knowledge about my family, lol. More blogs are to come containing things like, cleaning tips, cooking ideas, family trips and birthday fun! From our house to yours, have a wonderful night and sweet dreams <3
