Oh rain, why do you like sneaking up on me.....

It's about that time again, school tonight at 5pm. I knew it was cold outside this morning when I dressed the kids, because the clouds were hovering for over an hour, so i made sure they were in something warm. Now me on the other hand, I have a dress code for school, all black or black and white. This gives me a limited number of outfit choices for the week and lately, it's been pretty warm, so i've tucked away my warm clothes in preparation for the new season. Well, since i go to school at night, the coldest part of the day, I am at a loss with finding myself something to wear.

Luckily, I had thrown some random clothes in the washer last night, and a black long sleeve shirt and jacket were in there! Then, I realized, I have no pants washed, lol. So here's a simple little trick i've learned, on how to make semi-dirty (please don't try this with overly dirty, stinky clothes) clothing that will make them look like you just took them out of the dryer.

step 1: take a lent roller and clean off all hair, loose dirt, crumbs from the surface of your clothing.

step 2: take a damp rag and rub out any stains or if your a mommy like me, caked on dirt from little hands wiping on you.

step 3: fabreeze the heck out those things! fabreeze isn't a perfume, it's a odor blocker. It will trap all nasty musty smells, and get rid of them.

step 4: Throw them in the dryer with a dryer sheet. I hate ironing, so the dryer is a quick way for me to get out any and all wrinkles as well as toughen them up to look like theyre clean. The dryer sheet helps the fabreeze in making them smell good as new!

Now, don't take these tips as an easy way out of cleaning laundry, because this is just a quick way to solving a simple problem at the last minute. Now off to do just as I told you, unless i'm in luck and in fact, there were some pants hiding in with the clothes in the dryer, one can hope, lol
